Youth Development Fund

Hello,

My name is Larry Johnson and I am the president of the Butler County Beekeeper’s Association (BCBA). Three years ago the Butler County Beekeeper’s Association established a youth development program that assists young kids, 18 years and under, with their beekeeping projects.

Each year youth members are eligible to fill out a youth development scholarship application. Through this application members of the Butler County Beekeeper association can determine how involved the kid is and the assistance that they need. We give a monetary scholarship to as many applicants as possible, depending upon the amount of donations that we receive.

BCBA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.

If you or your organization would be interested, you can make a contribution towards a jar of honey sold through the cake and pie auction at the Butler County Fair; 100% of the proceeds goes directly to our youth development program. We try to collect as much as we can from businesses and individuals and consolidate the amounts contributed. Your name or organization’s name will be announced and advertised through BCBA if desired.

Checks can be made payable to: BCBA.
In the memo, please write (jar of honey).
An official receipt will be sent to you once payment is received. The receipt will have BCBA’s EIN.

Mail to:

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Larry Johnson
